Baritone, Samling Artist Programme: 2024

Hector Bloggs is a British baritone studying on the Opera Course at Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of John Evans. Operatic roles include the title role in Don Giovanni, Sid Albert Herring, Silvio Pagliacci, Marco and Betto Gianni Schicchi, Bartolo Le nozze di Figaro and Silvio Il barbiere di Siviglia. At Guildhall he has performed scenes from La bohème, The Rape of Lucretia, Carmen, Le nozze di Figaro, Pelléas et Mélisande, Manon, Eugene Onegin and Die Fledermaus, as well as covering major roles in Blonde Eckbert, La Bella dormente nel bosco, The Star next to the Moon and Alcina.  He has won various competitions, both inside and outside Guildhall. Hector is fortunate to be a Gwen Catley Scholar, funded by the Amar-Franses & Foster-Jenkins Trust.
