Melissa Gregory is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and the Queensland Conservatorium. She was a finalist in the 2022 International Handel Singing Competition, an award winner in the 2021 Joan Sutherland – Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award and second prize winner in the Joyce and Michael Kennedy Award for the Singing of Strauss.
Operatic engagements include Der Komponist and Dryade Ariadne auf Naxos (RNCM and Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program); Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro and Fox Goldenmane The Cunning Little Vixen (RNCM); Orlofsky Die Fledermaus (Lyric Opera Studio Weimar); Hansel Hänsel und Gretel, Third Lady Die Zauberflöte and Florence Pike Albert Herring (Queensland Conservatorium) and Dido Dido and Aeneas (Musica Antiqua Collegi). In 2023 she sings in the ensemble of nuns in Dialogues des Carmélites and chorus for L’elisir d’amore at Glyndebourne Festival.
