Australian tenor Phillip Costovski recently completed his MA at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with distinction. He was generously supported by the Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship. As the inaugural recipient of the 2021 Lady Galleghan London Award, he appeared at Opera Holland Park in the chorus and as Pásek The Cunning Little Vixen. Other operatic roles include Count Belfiore La finta giardiniera, Bénédict Béatrice et Bénédict, Mayor Upfold Albert Herring, Rinuccio Gianni Schicchi, Le roi Ouf L’étoile and in 2018 premiered the role of Henry in Paul Dean’s Dry River Run. Phillip also performs regularly as a concert soloist in works including Handel Messiah, Mozart Requiem, Beethoven Mass in C, Bach Magnificat in D and Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle.
