An outstanding cast of young singers from the North East are joined by the internationally acclaimed Dunedin Consort on period instruments and their director John Butt, and a short companion piece by Claudio Monteverdi sets the scene for Dido’s royal court.

About The Fire Station
The Fire Station is located in Sunderland city centre, near the Minster, with excellent transport links via car, Metro, train or bus. Secure parking is available close by at St Mary’s Car Park, SR1 3AH (0.3 miles) or the Bridges Car Park, SR1 3PZ (0.2 miles) and there is some street parking with payment via the RingGo app. The nearest Metro stations are Sunderland, Park Lane and University, and the mainline train station and Park Lane Interchange bus station are also close by.
The Fire Station has a foyer bar and the Engine Room restaurant serves light snacks and full meals.
