Samling Artist, baritone Morgan Pearse, took part in Samling Artist Programme in 2013.
With only five days now until our Samling Showcase at Wigmore Hall, today we’re profiling Young Classical Artists Trust Artist, Morgan Pearse.
During the 2014/15 season Morgan joined Houston Grand Opera Studio where his roles included Papageno (The Magic Flute), Yamadori (Madame Butterfly), Anthony (Sweeney Todd) and the cover of Guglielmo. You can find out more about Morgan on his website.
He’s now back in the UK where he is currently playing Figaro in English National Opera’s production of The Barber of Seville for which his reviews have included:
“Figaro is played by Morgan Pearse, a handsome Australian baritone with a nice line in dry, understated irony… wonderfully agile.” – The Guardian.
There are still some tickets available for the Samling Showcase on 4th November from Wigmore Hall. Online: www.wigmore-hall.org.uk or by calling: 020 7935 2141.
