If you are aged 14–21 and you live or study in North East England, you can apply here for Samling Academy 2025/26. You may also apply if you currently live outside the North East and hold a UCAS offer for entry in October 2025 to a university in North East England (Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland or Teesside).

Live auditions will be held on Friday 20 March (The Glasshouse, Gateshead), Saturday 21 March (Durham) and Sunday 22 March (Newcastle). We will provide a pianist for auditions or you may bring your own.
Samling Academy 2025/26 will begin with six days of training, held at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music and Newcastle University, over the following days:
Friday 10 to Sunday 12 October 2024
Friday 24 to Sunday 26 October 2024 (ending with an afternoon concert at The Glasshouse)
